A Friend Along the Path

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving.
It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken
your vowsa thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.” - Rumi

Welcome. Whatever the reason, I am glad you are here.

This life we share is not always easy. Time and again we each will face difficult and challenging circumstances. We'll be asked to suffer into the potential of our becoming. And though we have every reason to despair our fate as brief and changing, we cannot deny the preciousness of being alive. That we could, and did, happen. That no matter how you’ve been blessedly broken, you are already loved as holy. Out of life's infinite possibilities, you are here. Like a seed knows to become a tree, you already contain within you everything you need to bloom. My role is to walk alongside you in support and encouragement of your becoming. At the heart of our work together is the invitation to meet yourself with honesty, patience, and kindness. Whether you are seeking support in navigating any of life's abundant challenges, or have a specific goal to work towards, you certainly do not have to walk the path alone.

Salam, my name is Moudi

I use he/they pronouns. I'm a psychotherapist, certified mindfulness instructor, writing facilitator, and published author and poet dedicated to collectively building a more possible world. I approach my work from an integrative and holistic perspective of the whole person as a relational and interconnected being. My natural orientation is to connect body, heart, mind, and spirit as a place of sacred intimacy and belonging in the web of being alive. I often weave writing and poetry as transpersonal practices in self-discovery and relational healing. In our time together we'll work on cultivating a mindful attitude towards life through the framework of attention, awareness, and acceptance.
